Selmer Reference 54 Alto Saxophone, Excellent Condition, Just Serviced
Selmer Reference 54 alto saxophone, s/n 795149. This is a one-owner sax that is in excellent overall condition. There are few scratches and zero dings or dents. The neck is original and has never been pulled down. The pads are also original and in excellent condition. My tech just serviced the horn so it feels great in all registers.
The Reference 54 is Selmer's attempt to capture the essence of a 1954 Mark VI, but with modern keywork and intonation. The result is a refined sound that has a lot of warmth and projection. This is an excellent horn, which is capable of playing both jazz and classical styles.
