Selmer Series III Alto Saxophone
Selmer Series III alto saxophone, s/n 599767. This saxophone was previously owned by a local pro who kept the sax in great physical and playing condition. He upgraded the sax with a Woodstone thumb hook and silver plated Woodstone neck joint screws on both sides; one for the tenon and the other for the lyre holder. The sax is in great condition overall and shows very little wear. It plays effortlessly from low Bb to high F#. The pads are in good shape and are sealing very well. It has great dynamic range and some really nice projection, perhaps a result of the upgrades. The sax comes in the original rectangular wooden Selmer case, also in good condition.
