1964 Buffet Super Dynaction Tenor Saxophone, Near Mint, Video
1964 Buffet Super Dynaction tenor saxophone in near mint condition. Here is a beautiful example of a vintage Super Dynaction that still has almost all of its lacquer intact. The case is in equally wonderful condition, and the sax even comes with the original mouthpiece, ligature and cap, pictured. This sax was recently acquired from the estate of a vintage Buffet collector who kept this sax in excellent playing condition. It has a recent overhaul with new condition white Roo pads, and my tech just performed a full service prior to sale. The sax feels properly regulated and the entire range from low Bb to high F pops out with ease.
These are tremendous horns that remind me a bit of a 10M but with more refinement. It has a huge, full sound that I think can play in a lot of different styles. This model has a great reputation and is a tremendous value compared to Selmers in similar condition and vintage.
