Selmer later changed the octave key design during Super Sax production, so not every horn from this period that is referred to as a Cigar Cutter actually has the original Cigar Cutter mechanism. This one does.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThese early Super altos are wonderful horns. They have a warmer, sweeter sound than later Selmer altos, while still having core that I associate with a vintage Selmer.
