Selmer Reference 36 Tenor Saxophone, Mint Condition
Selmer Reference 36 tenor saxophone, s/n 627458. This is my absolute favorite model that Selmer currently makes, which is inspired by their Balanced Action model which came out in 1936. This sax has a significantly darker core to the sound than other modern Selmers, and it's remarkably round and sweet sounding. Think flourless chocolate cake, and you're not too far off from how this sax behaves.
This sax is in mint condition and is truly comparable to a new saxophone. I don't see one scratch or ding on the sax. The pads are still in new condition. The horn plays extremely well from top to bottom, but it will be checked out by my tech before it ships to ensure that the pads are 100% sealing.
