It allows the thumb to pivot without having to lift up and away from the octave key, which makes the low end feel much more fluid than on most other baritones.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis sax is in near mint condition and looks barely played. My repairman just serviced the horn, and the pads are in excellent condition and sealing well. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe sax comes in its original case.
