This sax is in mint, almost unplayed condition and could easily pass for a new sax. I just acquired it from the original owner, who purchased it new six months ago and only played it a handful of times.

The T-WO2 is Yanagisawa's lighter weight professional bronze tenor. The bronze body has a beautiful warm, rose gold color that contrasts nicely with the traditional brass colored keywork. Compared with the heavier T-WO20, the WO2 uses primarily post to body construction rather than the more extensive ribbed construction found on the WO20. This reduces some weight and gives the horn a lighter feel in the hands. To me, the WO2 also has a particularly responsive, lively feel that makes it a lot of fun to play.

I really like how the bronze Yanagisawas sound. Compared with the brass T-WO1, the WO2 is warmer and a little less bright, with a gorgeous spread to the sound, especially at softer dynamics. It still has plenty of clarity and projection when pushed. No matter which Yanagisawa model you ultimately choose, I think these instruments are being made at an exceptionally high level and compete with anything else out there.
