You'll find a lot of Mark VII saxophones with significant lacquer loss. I see this more often with Mark VIIs than with Mark VIs or later Selmers beginning with the Super Action 80. I'm not sure why this is the case, but with a Mark VII sometimes you have to embrace the vintage character that comes with it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis horn's voice is distinctly vintage Selmer. It has a gorgeous darker core but can easily project when you push it. The entire range speaks freely down to low Bb.
