1951年 Selmer Super Balanced Action 次中音薩克斯風 46,xxx，已大修，附影片

1951 Selmer Super Balanced Action SBA tenor saxophone, s/n 46689. This saxophone just received a full mechanical overhaul from Eric Beach prior to sale. He installed Pisoni Pro pads and domed rivetless metal resonators. Eric's work is fantastic and the horn feels locked in and effortlessly plays in all registers. The neck is original to the horn and has a matching serial number.

I am not sure whether or not the lacquer is original. I have taken it to two repairmen for a second opinion, and they were divided. One concluded it was original lacquer. Eric ultimately decided that it was relacquered although he also thought it was somewhat ambiguous. The engraving is virtually 100% intact, but it feels light to the touch. We didn't notice any extra jeweler's rouge or any other obvious spots that had been buffed. I'll leave the question to the next buyer. Either way, you're getting a truly great sounding horn that is either a gorgeous original lacquer SBA or the best relacquer job you'll ever come across. Decide for yourself!
