Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 160732. Here's a one-owner Mark VI tenor saxophone made in 1968. The sax has its original coat of lacquer, and approximately 90% remains. Although the sax shows a fair amount of tarnish, the physical condition is quite good for its age. There are no resoldered key guard feet, the neck is original and has never been bent down, and the bell flare looks great. I see a small amount of dent work in the bow.

The previous owner had the horn repadded a few years ago and then played it very little after this. As such, the pads are in excellent shape and have a lot of life left in them. My tech regulated the pads, so they seal very well from top to bottom. The Low Bb easily responds in all dynamic levels.

This is a great sounding horn. It has a nice resistance that you can push against. The core is compact, it has great projection, and has a lovely, singing sound when you push it.
