Selmer Mark VI 中音薩克斯風 233,xxx，High F#，新皮墊，影片示範

1974 Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone, s/n 233386. This sax has its original lacquer with 90+% present. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The previous owner repadded the sax just before I acquired it, so the pads are still in like new condition. You can expect years of playing before any of them need to be changed. My repairman just serviced the sax, so the pads seal very well and I can play down to low Bb effortlessly.

This is an outstanding playing horn. The sound is on the slightly dark end of the spectrum, compact and powerful, with a very even response through all registers. The low notes speak easily.

This sax has an optional high F# key, which is somewhat rare on a Mark VI and a must for many saxophonists. It also has the medium bow, which gives the best combination of quick response and stable intonation.

It comes in a new, unused BAM case. It fits the horn perfectly, and is one of the best looking and performing cases out there.

I think this is one of the best values in a Mark VI alto that you'll find anywhere. This horn can play circles around many Mark VI altos that cost twice as much. If you're concerned mostly about how a horn plays and sounds, this one emphatically delivers.
