192,xxx Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, 98% Original Lacquer, Video
1971 192,xxx Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with approximately 98% original lacquer. This sax was just serviced by my repairman prior to sale. He replaced a handful of pads and reseated the rest. The horn is currently in excellent playing shape and you could take it to a gig tonight. My repairman also adjusted the neck taper/angle. The sax comes in the original case which is in decent shape. Both zippers work, although the guides are missing.
Many players love later Mark VI tenors right around the 200,xxx range. They tend to have some extra power and projection. This horn has a colorful, round sound that is dense and powerful. The sound stays full without thinning when you push it. This is a very nice sounding later Mark VI.
