1964 116,xxx Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone, Mint Condition, Video, WOW!
1964 116,xxx Selmer Mark VI with 99.9+% original lacquer. This is a nearly perfect Mark VI that shows very few signs of wear anywhere on the body. There are no dents, and very few light scratches. There's a tiny area of imperfect lacquer around the high F where a ding appears to have been repaired, but otherwise this is one of the cleanest early 1960's Mark VI's I've ever seen. The previous owner replaced a handful of pads, and the rest are original. The sax plays well enough to get a good impression of its tonal characteristics, and can be left as-is or repadded, depending on what the new owner decides to do with this beauty. The sax comes in its original case which is flawless. The original blue sticker from the music store in Kansas is still on the case, which adds some provenance to this unique time capsule.
