Rampone and Cazzani Le Due Voci Soprano Sax
Rampone and Cazzani Two Voices straight soprano saxophone. Its design is inspired by a drawing entitled "Le Due Voci", which depicts the twin bell towers of the 18th century Church of Saint Nicholas of Flüe in Quarna Sotto, where the saxes are made. The saxophone has a sterling bell and a bronze body, with a stunning engraving depicting the twin bell towers of the church. The key touches are made from wood, which gives this horn a unique look and feel.
I acquired this sax from the original owner, who purchased it in 2021. The sax has barely been played and is in perfect condition. My tech adjusted the sax prior to sale, so it has the look and feel of a new horn.
This is a fun saxophone to play, and a certain departure from the offerings from the other major manufacturers. The sax is on the darker side of the spectrum, and plays with a ton of warmth. If you're looking for a soprano sound that is laid back and velvety, this could be the horn for you.
