Selmer Series II Soprano Saxophone, Silver Plated
Selmer Series II soprano saxophone, s/n 414283. This sax is silver plated with nearly 100% still present. Series II sopranos are fantastic instruments that have a very direct, responsive feel, partially due to the fact that they are single piece instruments without a removable neck. I think that it compares to a Mark VI, but with vastly better ergonomics and intonation. Plus, there's a neck strap ring so it's much more comfortable to hold and play.
This horn was just serviced by my repairman prior to sale. The horn plays easily in all registers. The pads are in good condition with a lot of life left. The sax comes in a ProTec double case, which is a nice bonus if you want to carry around your alto at the same time.
