1950's Selmer Soloist short shank alto saxophone mouthpiece. This was originally a D facing and Brian Powell opened it up to an E facing, measuring .079". Brian's work is perfect and the table, tip and rails all look magnificent. The chamber is scooped out on the bottom, much like an early short shank. The result is fantastic. The mouthpiece plays brightly like a good original E, but there's some extra depth and tone color present that I think makes this a special mouthpiece.
