Yamaha YAS-480 Alto Saxophone, Just Serviced
Yamaha YAS-480 alto saxophone, s/n T90985. This is Yamaha’s current intermediate level alto saxophone, replacing the YAS-475, and before that, the YAS-52.
This is an incredible horn and a great value. In my opinion, Yamaha’s intermediate saxophones are better than many other manufacturers’ professional level horns. With Yamaha, you know you’re getting meticulous manufacturing, consistency, and excellent design. These are the only intermediate saxophones I regularly recommend.
This one is in great condition and plays effortlessly from top to bottom. My repairman just went through the sax to regulate the pads so that everything seals well. The pads are in great condition and have a lot of life left. The sax comes in its original Yamaha case.
