Yanagisawa Elite A-8830 alto saxophone, s/n 147857. This is Yanagisawa's top of the line professional model. This one has a sterling silver body tube as well as a sterling silver neck that's gold plated. This is a phenomenal sax. Gorgeous, pure, projecting sound that plays easily in all registers. My repairman just serviced the sax, replacing one pad and regulating the rest. The sax plays easily from low Bb to high F# and beyond. This is a world class instrument that I think compares well to just about anything else out there.
