Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 136592. This sax received a full mechanical overhaul in 2022 by Eric Beach. Eric's work is exceptional and the horn still feels great, just like it was when I got it back from him a few years ago. It has been well maintained by a longtime customer and remains in excellent playing condition.
The sax comes with its original neck, which has never been bent down, and the original case. The overall condition is great, and the lacquer is original.
I remember this horn standing out when I first played it a few years ago, and it still makes the same impression now. The lower register is big and effortless, and the horn plays with even response from top to bottom. The tone has great complexity and character, making it a particularly memorable Mark VI.
