1970 Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone, s/n 182923. This sax has its original lacquer with approximately 80% present. The previous owner repadded the sax shortly before it arrived, so the pads are still in like new condition. My repairman just serviced the sax prior to sale, so the pads are sealing great from top to bottom.
Late Mark VI altos can be fantastic playing instruments and a great value in the marketplace. Selmer experimented with their alto bow lengths and eventually settled on a medium length bow around 1966/1967. This had the perfect combination of excellent intonation and response. The neck is original to the horn. The sax comes in a top of the line Bam Cabine case, which is a great fit for this horn.
