1971 Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone, s/n 194323. This sax has its original lacquer with over 99% still present. Although this sax is 55 years old, it looks and feels like it's barely been played in its lifetime. The neck is original to the sax and has never been bent down. The sax comes in its original case.
My repairman just serviced the horn prior to sale. He replaced a handful of pads. The remaining pads appear to be original but seal well and are in remarkably good condition for their age. The sax comes in its original case.
Mark VI altos around s/n 200,xxx are some of my favorites to play. They have a medium bow, which offers a great combination of excellent intonation and responsiveness. The horn feels nimble and has a nice combination of resonance and projection without being overly bright.
