1940 Selmer Balanced Action alto saxophone, s/n 24,xxx. This Selmer Balanced Action plays great and has that sweet, centered and focused sound that these are known for. The sax comes in a modern ProTec case in decent condition.
The sax is in great playing condition. My tech just serviced the horn so it's sealing well. The pads still have a lot of life in them. As with most BA's, this one does not have the original finish. However, most of the engraving is still present including the beautiful cabin and lake scene on the bell.
