1955 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 62896. This sax was just mechanically overhauled by Eric Beach, who is one of the best in the business. Eric uses high end materials including Pisoni Pro pads. What sets Eric's work apart from many is the considerable time and effort he puts into perfecting the keywork. This is not just a standard repad, but a mechanical rebuild, ensuring that the keys don't bind or have extra play. The process is time consuming, but the results speak for themselves. The keys move effortlessly with a degree precision that this horn probably hasn't had since it was new over 60 years ago.
Although the sax doesn't have its original lacquer, the coloring is exactly what you'd expect from an original lacquer specimen. The neck is original to the horn and has a matching serial number. The sax comes in a new Bam case.
