1974 Selmer Mark VI, s/n 227940. This tenor saxophone is a solid playing example that was just overhauled by its former owner before I acquired it. The pads, corks, and felts are all in new condition and the horn is currently playing easily and evenly from top to bottom with good response in all registers.
The saxophone retains traces of its original lacquer, with significant wear consistent with long-term use. This is a well used Mark VI that has been maintained as a working instrument. A good option for players looking for a serviced Mark VI tenor that prioritizes playability and sound over cosmetic condition.
