1954 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 56377. This has a rare "double S" logo, which if you look closely is actually an S and C, for Selmer et Cie. Selmer used this logo on their necks during the first year of Mark VI production before switching to the standard S that exists on the others. The neck has a matching serial number and has never been pulled down. This sax was recently set up by PM Woodwind and the pads are still in great condition with a lot of life left in them. The lacquer isn't original but it looks good and the tone holes appear to be in good shape. The sax comes in a ProTec case.
