Ernst Riedl bassoon, s/n 1397. This is an excellent vintage bassoon which just received a full setup from my repairman prior to sale. The bassoon plays wonderfully in its current condition. The bassoon was previously owned by a professional bassoonist who was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra. I received this bassoon with several others, and all have been incredibly well playing instruments. This one is definitely in that category.
