Rampone and Cazzani R1 Jazz curved soprano saxophone, s/n 28239. This sax is in excellent condition and shows very little wear. The pads are original and still in excellent condition. My tech just serviced the horn prior to sale, ensuring that all of the pads are sealing well.
I have found that this model has a more mellow, spread sound compared to other professional horns being made today like Selmer, Yamaha, etc. However, there is more immediate feedback and intimacy because the bell is pointing up. It's a very nice sounding horn and a meaningful departure from other pro horns.
