Selmer Mark VII alto saxophone, s/n 248371. Selmer made Mark VI altos up until around 238,xxx, so this horn is one of the first 10,000 or so Mark VII's that came off the line. It's in fantastic original condition with very few signs of wear. The previous owner overhauled the sax just prior to selling it, so the horn has essentially a new overhaul. I had my tech go over the horn again, checking for any pad leaks. He also raised the key heights slightly, as they were a bit too low. The horn feels locked in, and has a tremendous sound.
