Yamaha Custom 82Z alto saxophone, YAS-82Z. This is Yamaha's top of the line professional sax, and the way this plays, it's easy to see why. Although it is marketed as a jazz horn, it is equally at home in any musical style. To me, these play like a souped up Yamaha 62. It has that solid core of sound you find in the best Yamahas, but has updated keywork that feels a bit more sturdy and natural compared to earlier versions.
This sax is in mint condition. It was barely played and still has the look and feel of a new sax. It's only a few years old. The horn plays perfectly from top to bottom and all pads are sealing very well.
