Yamaha Custom 82Z tenor saxophone, s/n 321373. Here's an 82Z in impeccable condition that just received a full mechanical overhaul from Shelly Tanabe, one of the best in the business. She completed this overhaul in Fall 2020, and really went all out with Pisoni Pro pads, custom TM reusable resonators and metal thumb touches. Any one of these upgrades would make a noticeable difference on a horn, and to have all three packaged together really sends this horn into the stratosphere. Compared to a typical 82Z tenor, this one has an extra few gears. The projection is tremendous, and the horn is very free blowing. The keywork is top notch, and the horn feels tight and locked in. This is an insanely nice playing 82Z that I would highly recommend to anyone.
