Yamaha Custom 82Z tenor saxophone with silver finish, s/n 185963. In my opinion, this is one of the finest tenor saxophone models being made today. I adore this saxophone for both classical and jazz styles. It has the most even scale of any tenor model being made today, and absolutely no effort is required to achieve an even scale in all ranges of the horn. The sax feels alive and responsive in a way that few other horns, vintage or modern, capture.
This one is in fantastic condition. There are zero dents or dings and the horn looks like it's barely been played. The pads still have a lot of life left. My tech just serviced the horn so the pads seal well. This sax is incredibly easy to play and feels locked in.
