Yamaha 62 purple label alto saxophone. Yamaha 62's with the purple label have a fabulous reputation. They have a centered, focused sound that makes them easy to project. The horn feels nimble in response and feel, and is a very fun all-around horn to play.

This is a one-owner horn that we recently received on a trade-in. The previous owner purchased this horn before going off to college, and it has been in his possession ever since. It has been played and maintained regularly. Overall, the sax is in excellent condition, and the original lacquer is almost all intact. My repairman performed a full setup, regulating the pads as needed, and the horn is currently playing very well. Low Bb to high F speak evenly and the response is great. The sax comes in its original case which is also in good shape. This is a legendary model, and in my opinion, worthy of its reputation.
