Yamaha YSS-475 Soprano Saxophone, S/N 8294A. Yamaha markets the YSS-475 as an intermediate-level soprano, but it easily holds its own against many professional models from other brands. The intonation is extremely even and accurate, as you'd expect from Yamaha. Unlike their professional horns, which typically use ribbed construction, the YSS-475 features post-to-body construction. This design contributes to a slightly brighter tone and a more immediate response.
This saxophone is in outstanding condition, with no dents, dings, or visible scratches. It comes from a longtime customer who maintains his instruments with great care. The pads are sealing well and remain in like-new condition. Includes the original Yamaha case.
