1956 68,xxx Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxohpone, Silver Plated, High F#, Video
1956 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 68033. This saxophone is in wonderful condition with its original silver plating. The sax is keyed to high F#, which is a must for many players. The sax was just serviced by PM Woodwind. The pads are in great shape and seal well. The sax has metal resonators. It comes in a vintage case. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The bell flare looks perfect. Amazingly, most of the contact points show no silver plating loss, indicating that this horn has seen relatively little playing time over its long life.
