Yamaha YSS-475 Soprano Saxophone, S/N 036754. Yamaha markets its YSS-475 as an intermediate-level soprano, but it easily holds its own against many professional models from other brands. The intonation is extremely even and accurate, as you'd expect from Yamaha. Unlike their professional horns, which typically use ribbed construction, the YSS-475 features post-to-body construction. This design contributes to a slightly brighter tone and a more immediate response.
This saxophone is in outstanding condition, with no dents, dings, or scratches. It comes from a local customer who only took it out of its case a handful of times. It's truly a like-new saxophone. The pads are sealing well and remain in new condition. Includes the original Yamaha case.
