175,xxx Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, Just Serviced, Original Lacquer
1970 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 175920. The lacquer is original, with approximately 90% still present. The sax is in great condition overall, with no resolders. The bell flare is perfect, and the neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. Most of the lacquer wear is around the neck strap ring from normal use. The sax was repadded at some point in its life. The pads are on the older side but still have plenty of life left.
My repairman just serviced the sax prior to sale. He replaced a handful of felts and corks, regulated the pads and mechanism, and installed a new neck cork. The sax feels great and is easy to get around on in all registers. It comes in a Selmer Vanguard case that is also in excellent condition.
