1961 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 92461. This sax just came back from a full service and is playing great. Three pads were replaced during the work, and the remaining pads are sealing well and still in great condition overall. The horn is in excellent playing condition and ready to go.

The lacquer is not original, and the neck does not have a serial number, so it’s likely not the original neck. Despite these changes, the horn plays with a full, lush, and complex tone that is characteristic of a great 5-digit Mark VI. Included with the saxophone is a BAM case in excellent condition.

If you’re looking for a well-playing Mark VI from a prime vintage without the premium price of a fully original example, this horn is an excellent option.
