Designed by Arnold Brilhart Tonalin alto saxophone mouthpiece. This is a very early Brilhart mouthpiece, made in Great Neck, NY, between 1940-1942. There are zero cracks or dark lines inside the shank of the mouthpiece. The table, tip and rails are remarkably clean for an 85 year old mouthpiece. There is one tiny blemish on the right hand side of the tip rail, but it's very minor and won't affect how the mouthpiece plays. The tip opening measures .066". It's stamped 2*. There is normal light wear on the table, but the original horizontal machine markings are still visible.
