How to sell your saxophone See the altos in stockYamaha YAS-62 alto saxophone in excellent condition. The Series II version has an updated octave mechanism and comes with a G1 neck, which is a good upgrade from the previous necks that the 62 was shipped with. The sax was just serviced by my repairman and is playing perfectly. The pads are all sealing and the horn plays effortlessly from top to bottom.
The Yamaha 62 is Yamaha's entry level professional horn, and offers tremendous value in its price range. Nothing else comes close to the quality, reliability and consistency of a Yamaha 62 in this price range. It's a great step up horn for the advancing student or for the saxophonist who wants a sax that can do anything with minimal maintenance.
