1950's Selmer Short Shank F Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece Tenney .095 From Mark VI
Here's a 1950's vintage Selmer short shank tenor saxophone mouthpiece that was opened up and perfected by the great Doc Tenney. His work is widely respected, and this mouthpiece is an amazing player. Doc opened up this mouthpiece to .095", which is right between an F and a G. It has a wonderful richness to the sound that I've never experienced with any Selmer short shank before. The intonation seems great and the low range pops out. The condition of the mouthpiece is excellent. The table, tip and rails are nearly perfect.
