1963 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, s/n 105766. The sax has its original lacquer, and approximately 96% remains. It was just overhauled by Mike Livingston. Mike's work is top notch, and this sax feels incredibly locked in from top to bottom. He performed extensive keywork, so the action feels tight and locked in, much like the day it left the factory. Mike installed plastic resonators, which is what this sax originally came with. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. A low C key guard foot and the alternate F# key guard foot has previously been resoldered. The bell flare looks perfect. Overall, considering that this saxophone is over 60 years old, it's in fantastic shape. This horn is from an excellent vintage, and it really sounds incredible.
