1973 218,xxx Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with 99%+ original lacquer. Here's a wonderfully preserved Mark VI tenor that is in wonderful original condition. This is a rare Mark VI with the optional F# key, which for so many players is a must-have feature. The previous owner replaced the pads and played it very little after this. As a result, the pads are in excellent condition and won't need to be replaced for years. My tech just performed a full service prior to sale, so the pads are sealing well. The sax comes in the original case which is also in great condition. Both zippers function well. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down.
Later Mark VI tenors are incredible horns. They tend to have some extra power and body to their sound that makes them very exciting horns to play. For the price/value ratio, you can't do better than a later original lacquer VI like this one.
