221,xxx Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone, 99% Original Lacquer, Video
221,xxx Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with approximately 99% original lacquer. This is a one-owner sax that just arrived. It was played for a couple of years before being stored away for decades. The sax is in tremendous shape. My tech carefully removed a couple dings on the bow, and there are some light surface scratches present. Overall it's in awesome original shape. The neck is original to the horn and has never been bent down. The case is also original and in excellent condition.
My repairman just serviced the sax prior to sale. He replaced a handful of pads, and regulated the rest. The pads are currently sealing very well. Low Bb to high F speak with ease and authority. This is a very low mileage horn despite being over 45 years old.
