I acquired this horn from the original owner and had my repairman perform a full repad. He used metal domed resonators which give the sound some extra projection and brilliance. The serial number is 80,xxx, although the neck serial number is about 1000 off from this. The owner didn't even realize that the neck serial number was off, so I suspect that the neck has always been with the horn. Nevertheless, it fits perfectly and seems to be a great match for the horn. The sax comes in the original case which is in good condition, despite an Air Force Band sticker and last name printed on the front (both should be easy to remove if desired).
