1986 Selmer Series II tenor saxophone, s/n 389291. This is an early Series II tenor, made in the first year of this model. Despite its age, this sax is in good overall condition. There are some scratches around the neck strap ring from a metal neck strap hook. A couple small dings in the neck were previously removed. The neck has never been pulled down. Otherwise, the horn looks great to my eye. The pads are still in excellent condition and don't need to be changed. My repairman just serviced the horn and replaced three key corks and one felt. He adjusted the pads so that they are sealing well. It's easy to get around on the horn from low Bb to high F#. This is a great sounding horn. It's full and lush in all registers.
