Yamaha Custom 82Z tenor saxophone. In my opinion, this is the very best tenor saxophone model being made today. I adore this saxophone for both all musical styles. It has the most even scale of any tenor model being made today, and absolutely no effort is required to achieve an even scale in all ranges of the horn.
This saxophone is in excellent physical and mechanical shape. The sax just came back from my repairman, so everything seals perfectly from low Bb to high F# and beyond.

The sax comes with a new V1 neck which is a perfect match for this horn. Yamaha began shipping the newer 82Zii models with this neck, which is a very meaningful upgrade. With a V1 neck, the palm keys speak better, and the entire range pops with a bit more color and energy. It definitely puts this 82Z into a different category of horn.
