Yamaha YAS-62 Alto Saxophone, Mint/Unused Condition
Yamaha YAS 62 alto saxophone, s/n 209574. The 62 is Yamaha’s entry level professional alto and sits just below their Custom series saxophones. In my opinion, it outshines just about every other professional saxophone in its price range, and plenty that cost 2 to 3 times as much. Yamaha makes world class instruments that are incredibly consistent, with exceptional tone, balance, and intonation.
This specific horn was previously owned by a retired military band musician and could pass for a brand new sax. The condition is basically flawless, including the inside of the body tube and bow, which still look factory fresh. The pads are in new/unplayed condition and seal perfectly. This is truly the kind of horn you would expect to see sitting in a retail shop as new inventory.
