1975 242,xxx Selmer Mark VII tenor saxophone with approximately 80% original lacquer. This is a very early Mark VII tenor saxophone that was produced just months after the Mark VI production. These early Mark VII tenors have a great reputation, and many players seek out horns that have an M serial number prefix and American engraving, like this one.
My repairman just performed a full service on this horn, replacing the neck cork, 15 felts and 16 key corks. It's playing great from top to bottom, and the pads look good and still have a lot of life left.
