1941 Conn 30M "Connqueror" tenor saxophone, s/n 298787. The saxophone just received a full mechanical overhaul from Mike Livingston. Mike is a saxophonist as well, so his overhauls come back with the pads sealing and the registers balanced.
The 30M is Conn's deluxe version of the 10M, and has the same fat, spread sound as the 10M, but with some extra features including sterling side and palm key touches and the 'permadjust' system which allows you to adjust the key mechanism and not rely on felts and corks to do the same. The left hand pinky mechanism is also an improvement from the 10M.
This saxophone is in very good condition, especially considering that it's over 80 years old. The lacquer is original and over 90% is still present. The neck is original and has never been bent down. It is rare to find a 30M with this much original lacquer.
