Here is a 1964 low A Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone with a high F# key. These are very rare, and Selmer made fewer than 1000 of them. The sax was recently overhauled by the previous owner and it's playing very well from top to bottom. They used white Roo pads, and they look good with the fresh silver plating, which I believe is not original to the horn.
The previous owner spent $2000 getting the low A key customized and set up by Music Medic. The result is a low A key that feels solid. The original key work felt too flimsy to push down the low A, which is no longer a problem with the Music Medic upgrade. If the new owner wants to revert the sax back to its original condition, the original keywork will be included.
The sax comes in a custom carbon fiber Manning case which sells for around $2000. It fits the sax well.
